Ingredients

1 1/2 oz (3 tablespoons) light rum
1/2 oz (1 tablespoon) triple sec
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon maraschino liqueur or kirsch
Sparkling water to taste
Garnish: a maraschino cherry

Preparation

  1. Shake all ingredients except sparkling water in a cocktail shaker with 1 cup ice cubes, then strain into a tall glass filled with ice cubes. Add sparkling water and stir.
