Honey-Mustard Salmon

This dish is elegant enough for company, quick enough for a “desperation dinner,” and convenient enough for any cook. You can put it together at the last minute or assemble it in the morning so it’s ready to cook when you are.

Recipe information

  • Yield

serves 6, 3 ounces fish per serving

Ingredients

Cooking spray
2 tablespoons snipped fresh dillweed or 1 teaspoon dried, crumbled
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 tablespoon honey
6 salmon fillets with skin (about 5 ounces each), rinsed and patted dry

Preparation

  1. Step 1

If grilling, lightly spray the grill rack with cooking spray. If broiling, lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Preheat the grill on high or preheat the broiler.

    Step 2

In a small bowl, whisk together the dillweed, mustard, and honey. Brush over the flesh side of the fish.

    Step 3

Put the fish with the skin side down on the grill or baking sheet. Grill or broil about 6 inches from the heat for about 6 minutes, or until the fish is cooked to the desired doneness.
