Mango-Strawberry Smoothie

Smoothies are superb served with pizza meals. Try this or any of the other smoothies in this chapter the next time you make pizza. I’ve suggested these smoothies as part of some of the menus in Chapter Six, A Flash in the (Pizza) Pan.

Ingredients

1 mango, peeled, pitted, and coarsely chopped
1 cup sweet strawberries, hulled
One 8-ounce container low-fat vanilla yogurt or soy yogurt
1/2 cup tropical juice blend or orange juice, or as needed
Ice, optional

Preparation

  1. Step 1

    Combine the first 4 ingredients in a food processor or blender and process until smoothly pureed. Serve at once in tall glasses, over ice if desired.
