Ingredients

1 large egg white
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup powdered sugar, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

    Using an electric mixer, beat egg white until soft peaks begin to form. Lower speed; slowly add 2 tablespoons water, then corn syrup. Increase speed; beat until creamy white in color and doubled in volume, 5-6 minutes.

    Beat in sifted sugar and vanilla extract.
