Punch

This great-tasting drink is reminiscent of the classic Dreamsicles that used to be sold from the neighborhood ice cream truck.

Freezing the watermelon and strawberries before mixing the drink eliminates the need for ice  — and allows the fruit flavors to retain their full intensity.

This is said to be the cavalryman's answer to Artillery Punch.

This German drink, called Grossmutters Punsch (Grandmother's Punch), is usually enjoyed warm at midnight on Christmas Eve. It can also be served as a refreshing chilled drink. For a festive touch, add a cinnamon stick to each glass.
